Why put a mat inside a wooden playpen?

Two reasons reviewers give: the pen stops sliding on hardwood or tile, and a crawler who is pulling up to stand lands on foam. The mat edge sits inside the panels, so there is no gap at the perimeter.

Which mat fits my playpen?

Match the panel count: 8-panel mats for the 63 x 63 in playpen, 10-panel mats for the 95 x 63 in playpen. If you add the 2-panel expansion set, move up to the 10-panel mat. Three looks: beige, Geometry and Under the Sea.

How do I clean it?

Wipe the cover with a damp cloth day to day; unzip and wash the cover when needed. Out of the box the foam takes up to 72 hours to reach full thickness.
